We finished the 4th week of our current series by John Ortberg. Thank you so much to Kent, Jim, Mark & James for teaching lessons so far. We have 2 weeks left and look forward to lessons from David & Jeff. We appreciate you!

Today was the last day for our study in Psalms. Thank you so much Todd for the great lessons. Thanks also to Kevin for sharing this morning about the relationships he and Jess have built after our missions project with the homeless. Please prayfully consider giving to the love offering for Ricky, one the men they have been ministering to, next Sunday.

We welcomed a special guest to our church this morning. For those of you who missed it - look for something big & purple next week!

Bro. Jerry has been stressing the importance of being different and remarkable. As we begin this new year, I pray that our "Neighborhood" will be "purple" and that we will truly impact those around us. Please pray for Jess & Kevin as they plan our mission's opportunities in the 414.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year's... the New Year's Eve block party was a blast! Thanks to the Simpson's for hosting!

What a crazy past few weeks! Regardless of the weather or the coaching situation at Tech it's comforting to know that we can be confident in the LORD. Thanks so much Todd for this study on Psalms. I know we are all benefiting from it.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
January 17th - ALL the men will go to 50th St. Caboose after church to eat lunch and watch the Cowboys win! We have a room reserved - the cost is $25 - if you can donate a dollar or two towards that cost please bring it on Sunday.
